Abstract

This research aimed to determine the stress level of parents facing children study from home at the early time of the enactment of COVID-19 social distance policy in Indonesia. The method was conducted using a survey through social media that was filled in by parents who had school-age children and were studying from home. The distribution and filling of questionnaires were conducted from March 31, 2020, to April 6, 2020. 236 respondents filled out the questionnaire, but after data cleaning processed only 223 respondents' data could be analyzed. The instrument used was the Perceived Stress Scale from Sheldon Cohen. The survey results indicate that the stress level of parents facing children study from home in the initial three weeks of social distance policy is 75.34 percent in the medium category, however there are 10.31 percent of respondents who have high-stress levels and 71.88 percent among them are women or mothers. High-stress levels are influenced, among others, by the inability of parents to guide learning, family health concerns, and family economic problems. This condition is likely to continue with the extension of the study from home period. For this reason, it is recommended that child social workers can provide online psychosocial services for parents who accompany children at home, such as family counseling, family therapy that parents and children can do, and increase family resiliency during the pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in law enforcement authority between Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol Pamong Praja/ Satpol PP) and Indonesian National Police (Polri) in creating public order and peace of society and how the differences could cause an overlap in their implementation. The research method used is normative juridical legal research using a statutory, conceptual, and comparative approach. The results showed that differences in law enforcement authority between Satpol PP and Polri are in creating public order and peace of society. Satpol PP has an authority to maintain public order, while the National Police is more concerned with maintaining domestic security; Meanwhile, in carrying out their duties, the Satpol PP often overlaps and clashes with other law enforcers, especially the National Police. It cannot be denied that it often happens that the National Police finally have to become a "fire brigade" when carrying out their duties. The Satpol PP has to clash with the community, which then arises an anarchic situation. When in situations that could lead to further disturbance in security and public order, the National Police finally intervened. What often happened was that the National Police collided with the community because of the anarchist situation that had developed too far.

Abstract

Kriging is a geostatistical analysis of the data used to estimate the value that represents a no sample point based sample point in the surrounding by considering the spatial correlation in the data. Kriging is an interpolation method that generates unbiased predictions or estimations and has a minimum error. Indicator kriging is an estimation method that does not require the assumption of normality of data and can also be used to treat data that have a significant outlier. The indicator kriging that based on the principle of ordinary kriging also called ordinary indicator kriging. In this case study conducted Morowali estimated iron content in Central Sulawesi using ordinary indicator kriging method. The data used in the form of data coordinate point and iron content. The results obtained are presented probability value locations that fall within the zone of potential and non potential with the value the error variance. Based on the analysis to obtain a plot depicting the location of the entry in the zones of potential iron mine on the abscissa coordinate (7150–7210), the ordinate (54180–54540), and the depth ranges (440–500) meters and also the coordinates of the abscissa (7710–8130), the ordinate (54800–54960), and depths ranging from (327–342) meters.

Abstract

Background: Preeclampsia accounts for nearly 10 percent of maternal deaths in Asia and Africa. Therefore, it is important to detect signs and symptoms early on by knowing the factors that are at risk for a mother experiencing preeclampsia. Objective: To determine the risk factors for preeclampsia in Asia and Africa through the application of meta-analysis. Method: A systematic review was carried out on 26 case-control and cohort studies related to risk factors for preeclampsia from four databases (PubMed, BioMed Central, ProQuest, and Google Scholar). The pooled odds ratio was calculated with the fixed-effect and random-effect model using Review Manager 5.3. Result: A total of 20 studies consisting of 2,954,769 women were included in the meta-analysis. Risk factors for preeclampsia based on maternal factors were chronic hypertension=9.74(95% CI 1.69-56.04), gestational diabetes=9.28(95% CI 4, 49-19.19), pre-pregnancy body mass index=2.70(95% CI 2.08-3.50), maternal age during pregnancy=2.37(95% CI 2.29-2.46) and nulliparity=2.08(95% CI 1.44-3.01). The fetal factor was multiple pregnancy=4.24(95% CI 3.14-5.73). Four disease history factors were family history of preeclampsia=13.99(95% CI 6.91-28.33), history of chronic hypertension=8.28(95% CI 5.92- 11.59), history of preeclampsia=OR 6.90(95% CI 3.58-13.31) and family history of hypertension=2.81(95% CI 1.75-4.50). Conclusion: The results of a meta-analysis of 10 risk factors for preeclampsia could be used as a screening tool to determine the magnitude of risk and early diagnosis of preeclampsia that allows timely intervention.

Abstract

Preoperative nursing action is an action performed by the nurse in order to prepare the patient for surgical measures in order to ensure the safety of intraoperative patients. When faced with surgery actions that are not hypertensive patients may increase their blood pressure temporarily due to the two most common factors of pain, and anxiety. This study aims to determine the relationship of anxiety levels with increased blood pressure in elective preoperative patients. This research using cross sectional approach, accidental sampling sampling method. The sample of this study were 30 elective preoperative patients with no history of hypertension. Measurement of anxiety using Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale and blood pressure using Spymomanometer. Chi square test results showed that there is a significant relationship between anxiety levels with an increase in blood pressure (pvalue = 0.023).

Natural disasters are still a matter of the world until today. The events pose not only physical impact but also psychological impacts that leave deep sorrow and fear. The survivors of the disaster felt they were at a very unsettled condition, felt very fearful, felt agitated for uncertain circumstances, and became very easily panicked until they could experience anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This systematic review aims to identify the impact–effects often posed by natural disasters on the soul health of survivors. Data searching is done on the Proquest, Pubmed, Science Direct, Sage, and Scopus databases that were converged in the 2013 to 2019 ranges. The psychological impact experienced by the victims after natural disaster events are depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), fear, suicide experiments, and other mental health disorders such as mood changes and a loss of interest in an activity. Natural disasters can hurt the mental health of the victims. If the psychological problems that occur to the victims are not immediately addressed, the victims will fall on more mental severe disorder conditions.
